Glenn Machine Works, Inc. was established in 1957 as a machine shop and plant maintenance facility. By 1960, steel erection machinery installation had become core business prospects. We also started a mill supply business to meet our increasing materials demands and give us a competitive edge.

Our business flourished and in 1972, we added crane rentals to give us the element we needed to make our operation full circle. Cranes gave us an extra capability of handling larger works and moving machinery we previously could not have done in house. The crane business grew rapidly.

By 1980, we were involved in large scale installation and plant relocation projects. By 1990, we were devoting ourselves to building on our core businesses and enhancing our crane fleets. Due to the strong demand for our crane services in 1997 we opened a new facility in Gautier, Mississippi. to handle work in the southern region of our state. The demand for our products and services has kept pace with a growing economy and will continue to grow.

It is now a new millenium and Glenn Machine Works, Inc. is positioned to offer full maintenance packages. In 2000, we have opened a branch in Mobile, Alabama to service our customers in Alabama, Georgia, and Florida.
